Kadek brings genuine traditional Balinese massage to Zhong Centre in St Kilda, alongside focused remedial massage for people who need a little more than just lying on a table and hoping their shoulders sort themselves out.

Originally from Bali, Kadek trained specifically in traditional Balinese massage in Bali, learning the flowing, intuitive style of bodywork that combines sustained pressure, long massage strokes, kneading and deeper work through muscular and fascial tension.

He is also a competitive athlete, representing Australia internationally in blind soccer and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, so when we say Kadek understands what happens to bodies when you train hard, push your limits and then wonder why everything hurts, we mean it.

Kadek's 90 minute Traditional Balinese Massage brings the style of massage he grew up around and professionally trained in back home in Bali to Zhong Centre in Melbourne.

Balinese massage is different from simply having a relaxation massage with a tropical smelling oil.

It is a whole body treatment combining long flowing strokes, rhythmic kneading, pressure work and deeper techniques through the muscles and fascia. Traditional Balinese massage is designed to create that gorgeous combination of feeling deeply relaxed while also feeling like someone has actually worked on your body.

Kadek is completely blind and works intuitively through areas of tension and restriction rather than mechanically following the same massage sequence for every person.

The result is a treatment that feels incredibly grounding, restorative and comprehensive.
